On a cold February day in Champaign, IL while working on the infamous CHEM 205 Cobalt Lab, Greg realized that he was not made to study chemistry for the rest of his life. That analytical skill set led him into economics and finance and he has never looked back, however he did not abandon it completely. His wife Karen was also an undergraduate chemistry major (she finished her chemistry degree) so some say that they have good chemistry.
Greg's role at Lincoln Park Financial Group is to serve as decision maker for his clients with respect to their ongoing investment management, tax strategy, estate planning and risk management. These decisions are then implemented and reviewed by Greg and other LPFG staff. Greg's attention has been increasingly dedicated towards sophisticated tax strategy as a result of recent tax law changes. He has helped his clients position themselves to avoid being deluged by the wave of future tax increases. His work includes giving presentations to tax professionals, publishing articles on charitable trusts, designing complex IRS qualified and non-qualified plans and incorporating captive insurance companies for his business owner clients.
Greg joined Lincoln Park Financial Group, LLC, in June of 2004 and played a pivotal role in building a firm that exceeds each client’s expectations. He has worked in the financial services industry for fourteen years. Prior to joining LPFG, Greg was affiliated with another wealth management firm in the suburbs of Chicago. Greg has published numerous financial articles covering a broad spectrum of topics. Always eager to improve his knowledge and skills, Greg recently completed all the course work for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 66 and 63 securities registrations and is also licensed for life and health insurance in the state of Illinois. Greg attended the University of Illinois in Champaign and earned his BA in political science and economics.
Greg specializes in working with his clients in the areas of investment management, tax strategy, estate planning and risk management. He is an associate member of the DuPage County Bar Association and attends the tax and estate planning committee meetings.
In 2010, Greg was asked to join the Children's Memorial Hospital Corporate Board, where he served until 2015. The Children's Memorial Hospital has been recognized as one of the most advanced treatment centers for childhood illnesses in the world. Greg has personally witnessed the positive impact that the hospital has on its young patients. He is anxious to give back and honored to help in any way possible.
Greg serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Polish American Association. He is currently appointed as the Chairman and oversees the organization's 2.5 million dollar budget and 26 programs involving immigration, English as a second language, domestic violence and substance abuse. It is the largest and oldest social services organization in Chicago that serves the Polish community. The PAA serves approximately 4,000 people per month. Greg met the leaders of this organization and was inspired to contribute. Their constant dedication and passion to help made a lasting impression on Greg and he hopes to assist the PAA continue to grow. His involvement in the Polish American community resulted in an invitation to attend a non-press leadership conference at the White House in May 2016. A select group of leaders were invited to attend and discuss immigration, NATO and Visa Waiver Program openly with White House officials.
Greg and his wife Karen are proud parents of seven year old "cutie" Claire born just after St. Patrick’s Day in 2011, six year old “smiley” son Ben born on a blazing hot day in July 2012 and their third child Caroline born in a snowy blizzard in March 2015. Claire is enjoying her karate practices and Ben is scoring goals in his soccer class. Greg says that weekends are the best part of the week as there is no shortage of activity around his house!
Jeffrey Hejza, CFP®
Jeff is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and was honored to be featured in Chicago magazine in 2011 through 2017 as a Five Star Wealth Manager*. Jeff is a Certified Trustee and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®; Illinois life, health, property, and casualty insurance licenses; and Illinois and national mortgage broker licenses. He also is a licensed real estate broker. Jeff has served as a mortgage consultant for more than 17 years and is currently affiliated with Mortgage Services III, LLC, as a mortgage banker. He will continue to bring his financing expertise to the LPFG team.
Jeff completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification program through Northwestern University in 2007 and currently holds the CFP® certification. As an undergraduate, he attended DePaul University where he earned a BS in finance with a minor in accounting. He has been retained as an expert witness and is available to assist as an expert witness for financial and investment-related litigation. Prior to his current positions, Jeff spent nearly seven years as a law clerk and research associate with Martin Brown & Sullivan, Ltd., a law firm in the Chicago Loop that specializes in white-collar criminal defense.
Jeff's service to the community has included serving as an ambassador for the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, joining his fellow members at the Union League Club to provide service and funding to the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago. Jeff is a board member and trustee of the Park Ridge Police Pension Fund. In addition, Jeff is active with the Chicago Fellowship, a group that focuses on accountability and stewardship. He is also extremely proud to support the Navy SEAL Foundation. Jeff is passionate about giving back to and helping U.S. Navy SEALs. He has a financial management program that is almost as unique as they are, exclusively available to SEALs and their immediate families.
Jeff and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Park Ridge. Although a part of them misses living in Lincoln Park, they still enjoy coming to their favorite restaurants in Chicago and are taking advantage of all that the city has to offer. Jeff's other interests include martial arts, golfing, skiing, and mountain biking. He has an affection for things made of fiberglass and enjoys boating, aerobatic flying, and Corvette road-racing events.

Chris' role at LPFG is to serve as the head of all operations. The firm’s expansion has resulted in multiple office locations, numerous client events, and the need for thorough logistics coordination. Chris fits perfectly into this role based on his experience as a leader and pilot in the United States Air Force. During his service, Chris managed some of the Air Force’s most difficult, dangerous, and important missions spanning all seven continents. He flew several different aircraft during his 13-year career; however, his favorite was the C-17, primarily used for troop and supply movement. Whether transporting the nation’s top officials, delivering critical humanitarian relief, or routinely flying into combat zones around the globe, Chris has consistently exceeded expectations.
One of Chris’ top achievements occurred while stationed at McChord Air Force Base. He led a team charged with evaluating and improving the procedures that ensure the safe air transport of nuclear materials. Their efforts earned a top command award, and the team was recognized throughout the Air Force ranks.
Chris graduated from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, one of the nation’s top overall schools. His bachelor’s degree in political science is backed up by his master’s degree in international relations and conflict resolution.
Chris is passionate about giving back to his community. He enjoys working with the kids' ministry at his church as well as helping coach youth sports. You can find Chris enjoying the many great cultural and outdoor activities Chicago has to offer with his wife Ali, and three kids: Emilja, Everett, and Ellis.
Robin began working with Jeff in 2009 and has been helping clients work through the mortgage process since then, in addition to an expanded role in internal compliance. She maintains a strict timeline in each transaction to ensure that a real estate closing is never delayed due to the financing component. Robin helps clients through the mortgage process in an effective manner, keeping client satisfaction as the primary goal.
Prior to joining Jeff in 2009, Robin was a wholesale account executive with Chase Home Equity. She has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Robin was a loan officer with National City and was also securities and insurance licensed through her past work at other banks.
Robin resides in Chicago with her husband, Rich, and daughter, Rachel.

Suzie joined Jeff’s team in 2019 as the Director of Client Relationships and Executive Assistant. With more than 15 years of experience that includes everything from the planning and execution of corporate events and national media tours to teaching English on the North Shore, Suzie is excited to focus her energy and experience on the valued clients of Lincoln Park Financial Group.
Suzie earned her B.A. in Communications from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. She left the midwest to study in Rome for a year, where she promptly fell in love with Italian culture and the country.
Prior to joining Jeff, Suzie worked in Public Relations and Event Planning for several years. She enjoyed the excitement and travel of the industry, but when much of her work was focused on Ronald McDonald House Charities, she realized that she wanted to continue working with children and completed her Master of Arts in Teaching at National Louis University in 2009. She then worked as a middle school teacher in Northbrook before having her children of her own.
While things are busy at home, Suzie enjoys reading, kick-boxing, and running. Suzie and her family reside in Glenview.
